Art Adams came to prominence in the comic industry due to his work on Marvel’s Longshot miniseries. However, his meticulous artwork required more time to produce than a monthly comic deadline would allow, so early on Adams’ work was more likely to be seen in miniseries, one-shot stories and covers than in an ongoing.
Adams actually hasn’t done much Batman work, but I’ve always been a big fan of his stuff, so I’m including it here. He did draw the interiors of the Action Comics annual above, though.
Art is also known for his drawings of movie monsters, from Godzilla to The Creature From The Black Lagoon. Here he draws Predator with Batman hiding behind him, perhaps in the final moments before Predator’s surprise birthday party.
His version of this classically weird Brave And The Bold cover…
And he likes gorillas.
