Q*bert’s Qubes captures the essence of its predecessor but offers enough changes to feel fresh. The blocks are no longer arranged in pyramids and are now separated by gaps. Although objectives may change from one screen to another, Q*bert is usually required to change an entire row of blocks to the same color by rotating them with his jumps. New enemies are presented but they have the same objective as those in the original; jump around and murder Q*bert.
