So, here’s another article related to gun control… To cut murder rates in Brazil, the government is offering monetary compensation (~$60-185) and no questions asked for anyone that turns in a firearm. Other measures are being taken to reduce murders like increased sentencing for unlicensed guns. Annd four years previous, murder rates were cut by 12% due to similar measures.
Of course, I think this is a great idea, especially for a country with no second amendment.

With the superhigh crime rate and other factors, I think you’d have to offer me a lot more to give up my gun.
Of course, I would just rely on my Gracie JiuJitsu techniques anyway, since one-on-one fighting is still endorsed; as long as you can prove just cause. Incidentally, the Gracies–some of the most formindable hand-to-hand combat artists in the world, are all licensed gun carriers.
